Meet the Team
Martin Mizgajski – Leisure Centre Manager
Martin started life at the Brandon House as a member of the Leisure Centre. Almost ten years ago he joined the team and is now the Centre Manager.
“My sporting background is in Triathlon. I was a full time athlete and for the last few years I am competing in cycling at an international level. I am the current Polish National Champion. 2016 is a big year for me - I am part of the Irish Olympic Team and I am working towards qualification for the Rio Olympic Games as an Irish Citizen. My favourite colours are orange and green.
Emmet Doherty – Leisure Centre Assistant Manager
Emmet Studied Business and recreational Management in WIT and has worked in the Brandon House Hotel since October 2001.
His is a qualified neuromuscular physical therapist. Emmet is fully qualified in swimming instruction and fitness instruction.
“I have won two County, two Munster and two All-Ireland intercounty football medals.
I have coached and managed the WIT football teams for the past 5 years and have won two Munster and one All-Ireland title with them.
I enjoy watching and coaching GAA, sports science and competition of any sort. I also enjoy reading and understanding of why great sports people are great and what gives them the edge, motivation and discipline to be better.
I like to get the best out of our clients – pushing people’s boundaries and showing them their true capabilities.”
Patricia Lazowska – Leisure Centre Supervisor
Patricia has been a member of the Brandon House team since 2012. She teaches Spinning, Zumba, Aqua Aerobics and many of our other aerobic classes. Patricia also has a passion for Crossfit and is an Olympic Lifting Coach.
Linda Kelly – Leisure Centre Attendant
Linda Joined the Brandon House team in 2013 after a work experiece placement with us. She is a fully qualified fitness instructor and swimming teacher. Linda discovered a new hobby in Dualthaon and has won a few National and Local races. Linda sets the monthly gym challenges and really pushes us outside our confort zone.
James Hackett – Leisure Centre Attendant
James is one of the newest members to the team, and brings a wealth of expericnce having studied excerise and health. James is a fantastic swimming and fitness coach.
Laura Walsh– Leisure Centre Attendant
Laura started with us in the Brandon House on work experience in 2014 while studying Sports & Recreational Management and she just fitted right in with the team. Laura is probably the unsung hero of the team as she looks after all the admin work in the backround as well as coaching and training in the gym.
