Covid 19 Safety Information

We are delighted to be welcoming our guests back to Brandon House Hotel.  We have implemented some changes to ensure you have a relaxing and worry free stay with us.  Below are some of these changes in line with all the official guidelines at present. Reservations: You can book your short break or holiday with us safe in the knowledge that if you need to cancel we operate a flexible cancellation policy.  Bookings made directly with us do not require a deposit and can be paid in full on your arrival at the hotel.

Check-in: Available from 4pm onwards. Checkout time is 12 noon all year round.  We would appreciate your co-operation with social distancing measures and ask that only one member of your party, where possible, presents at Reception for check-in and check-out. The preferred method of payment will be by card. On check-in you will be asked to answer the following questions:

1. Have you or any member of your party been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days?

2. Are you or any member of your party waiting on results of a Covid-19 test or have received a positive diagnosis in the last 14 days? *

Unfortunately we do not have the facility to provide self-isolation accommodation for guests.  If any guest answers Yes to any of the above questions we will be unable to check them in to the hotel and their reservation will be cancelled. * Frontline workers who participate in regular testing without showing symptoms are an exception to question 2.

Food & Beverage: We have implemented a booking system for meals in our Gallery Restaurant and Library Bar, including breakfast. Our aim is to help you book your slot and reduce queuing time, while remaining within social distancing guidelines. We strongly advise pre-booking of meal times prior to your arrival to ensure you secure a suitable time slot. Please note during times with restrictions in place, we may offer a reduced menu in the Bar & Restaurant. In accordance with Governent Guidelines the following policies must be adhered to:

1. All Guests must wear face coverings on entering the hotel, until seated and again when leaving their table.

2. Maximum of 6 people seated per table.

3. Last orders for drinks in the bar will be 11pm, the bar will be fully closed and must be vacated by 11.30pm.

4. Non residents will be asked to provide a valid Vaccination Certificate together with photo ID for verification purposes.

5. Lead Guest name and contact number to be given in order to facilitate contact tracing.

Servicing Your Room: For the comfort and peace of mind of guests who are staying more than one night, our house keeping team will only service your room if you have displayed the “Room Ready to Service” sign before 11am. If you display the “Do Not Disturb” sign, or do not display any sign, we will assume you would prefer your room not to be serviced. 

Brandon House Leisure Centre: Guests are no longer required to pre-book time slots in our pool and gym.  In the interests of guests safety please note we do still have a maximum capacity in both the pool and gym.  There are regular cleaning and sanitizing schedules in place in both areas.  Guests will be required to sign in at leisure centre reception before using the facilities to help with contact tracing if needed.

Solas Croí Spa: We are delighted to advise that treatments in the Solas Croí Spa are available. To avoid disappointment it is recommended that you contact the spa as soon as possible after booking your accommodation if you wish to avail of treatments. The Thermal Suite is currently open with limited availability, however guests must pre-book use with Spa Reception. Hotel residents can avail of a discounted rate of €15 per person.

Brandon Buccaneers Kid’s Club: Unfortunately we are not running our kid’s club at present.  We will constantly keep this under review and look forward to having this facility back in action as soon as safety guidelines allow. 

Room Charging: We are currently operating a 'Pay As You Go' service in the hotel. Guests are not permitted to charge food or drinks to their room at this time.
