Meet the Team
Martin Mizgajski – Leisure Centre Manager
Martin started life at the Brandon House as a member of the Leisure Centre. Almost ten years ago he joined the team and is now the Centre Manager.
“My sporting background is in Triathlon. I was a full time athlete and for the last few years I am competing in cycling at an international level. I am the current Polish National Champion. 2016 is a big year for me - I am part of the Irish Olympic Team and I am working towards qualification for the Rio Olympic Games as an Irish Citizen. My favourite colours are orange and green.
Emmet Doherty – Leisure Centre Assistant Manager
Emmet Studied Business and recreational Management in WIT and has worked in the Brandon House Hotel since October 2001.
His is a qualified neuromuscular physical therapist. Emmet is fully qualified in swimming instruction and fitness instruction.
“I have won two County, two Munster and two All-Ireland intercounty football medals.
I have coached and managed the WIT football teams for the past 5 years and have won two Munster and one All-Ireland title with them.
I enjoy watching and coaching GAA, sports science and competition of any sort. I also enjoy reading and understanding of why great sports people are great and what gives them the edge, motivation and discipline to be better.
I like to get the best out of our clients – pushing people’s boundaries and showing them their true capabilities.”
Joanna Barska – Leisure Centre Supervisor
Joanna has been a member of the Brandon House team since 2004. She teaches spinning, aqua aerobics and many of our other aerobic classes.
“My main sporting interest is swimming. I love teaching and coaching swimming. I do like to follow the progress of the New Ross Swimming Club as I coach a team.”
Anne-Marie Bradley – Leisure Centre Attendant
Anne-Marie Joined the Brandon House team in 2013. She is a fully qualified fitness instructor and swimming teacher.
“I teach aqua aerobics, pilates, TRX and swimming lessons. I follow V8 supercar racing but I will watch any sport”.
Craig O'Brien – Leisure Centre Attendant
Craig is another long standing member of the team and teaches swimming lessons, core classes, boxing insanity, spinning kettle bells and circuits.
